Participants receive supportive services such as intensive success coaching, 奖学金, 笔记本电脑结账, 实习医生风云, 运输援助, resume/interview preparation and job placement assistance. 项目H.E.L.P. also works with community agencies and area employers to provide participants with a wrap-around approach to overcoming barriers while learning about the healthcare field.

Administered by the Administration for Children and Family, U.S. 卫生署 & 人类服务, HPOG was created to provide education and training to Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program recipients and other low-income individuals for occupations in the health care field that pay well and are expected to either experience labor shortages or be in high demand.

HPOG participants are given the opportunity to obtain higher education, training and support services needed to secure positions that have opportunity for advancement and sustainability, ultimately leading these individuals on a pathway to financial self-sufficiency.
